Mukta Tantra Yoga is the Inner Yoga of Ancient India, the Yoga of Awareness & Presence

The secret of absolute freedom!

Mukta Tantra Yoga is not Hatha Yoga or Neo Western Tantra or Western Kundalini Yoga. Historically, it is the only philosophy in the world that is not male chauvinistic and doesn’t discriminate between any nationality, class, color, gender, sexuality and religion. It has evolved very differently in a non-dualistic environment and passed orally from generations to generations in a practical way.

It is inspired by Traditional Kundalini Tantra Yoga and Kashmir Shaivism (also called Himalayan Tantra, Agama, Trika, etc.) and from Mukta’s Father and various Mystics as well as Mukta’s life experiences.

Mukta Tantra Yoga is a golden secret key to absolute freedom. It is the Essence of all Asiatic Mysticism. Traditional Tantra reflects the experience of Asiatic Mystics who have expressed their true freedom. It can become just an inspiration to taste our own freedom.

Therefore this type of yoga cannot be found through self-claimed scholars or theirs books and it is not a commodity that you can buy. It is a heart to heart connection and a direct perspective of free mind.

Following Tantra is not a goal, rather understanding oneself is being Tantric. Tantra is a sign board to rightly understand oneself. In this way awakening of true intelligence can manifest itself.

Mukta Tantra Yoga is only for those who are not looking to convert themselves from one system of belief to another. This is not a spiritual romantic escape or an academic trap to get lost in translations, but a key to dissolve self-inflicted sorrow and to celebrate our uniqueness beyond all comparisons. A healthy doubting, skeptical and critical mind is a free mind because it doesn’t want to follow or obey blindly to the rules given by societies and so called leaders. An obedient mind is a mechanical mind that can easily be exploited to serve the old establishments which only feed on fear and greed.

True Spirituality is not conforming to any pattern given by others or oneself, rather getting rid of all patterns (spiritually or worldly) is true spirituality. Spirituality is not an escape from the world and its turmoil rather becoming intelligent to deal with it, like a lotus flower that blooms in the mud. But any effort to fit into any selfish society is the surest way to get lost. Only a true dropout or misfit can see beyond the dust of so called taboos. Being yourself as you are is the key and not trying to fit to the others expectations. Dropouts are the update of our society and misunderstood by the common masses.

“Following someone who is still seeking or practicing is the surest way to get lost.”

Mukta Tantra Yoga is not used to gain or achieve freedom in future – rather to express the freedom we already have. Mukta Tantra Yoga is all about the presence and direct perception here and now. Instead of following Mukta Tantra Yoga, you can use it to sustain yourself physically, mentally & emotionally in daily life. Inner order is born out of our real nature and naturally creates the outer order. An orderly and harmonious life is full of joy and creativity.

Mukta Tantra Yoga supports self-awareness born out of direct observation. Awareness makes us present to face daily life as it comes and responding with the fresh intelligence of the moment.

Mukta Tantra Yoga encourages others to see directly in their own light beyond all dependency on systems, cultures, traditions, organised religions, bookish knowledge and self-claimed gurus. Systems and traditions are there to be used and not to get used or obsessed by them. They are the shadows of truth which modern scholars are trying to catch. We are the truth, just start expressing it with no excuses to seek for it. Truth is not a monopoly of any lineage, rather the essence of a rebellious heart who dares to break through all the traditional lineage of the past to express truth freshly in order to use tradition rightly. Only lies are repeatable not the Truth because truth is always fresh and always needs to come upon freshly.

‘Mukta‘ means ‘free’ or liberated. ‘Tantra‘ is a science to crack the code of our true nature (pure consciousness, bliss or freedom) which is eternal and always free from body, mind and feelings. There is no goal to achieve rather experiencing the true bliss of life which is already there.

What is the difference between sexually inspired Tantra & Mukta Tantra Yoga?

Spiritualized and romanticized sex is sold as love making skills to stimulate oneself momentarily in order to forget one’s sufferings born out of self-centeredness and isolation. But Love is not a skill rather an Art that flows naturally in deep intimacy. Intimacy can not be taught or learnt. Making love without intimacy is prostitution and leads to all sorts of sufferings and psychosomatic problems born out of dependence. Mukta Tantra Yoga is not dependent on the other for love or transformations.

Mukta Tantra is the complete freedom from dependence on others. When you are not dependent on others emotionally, physically and mentally then you truly can love. That love will not have a shadow of sufferings. There is no true relation between two isolated egos but two freedoms always meet naturally. When “I” is not, life is.

Mukta Tantra Yoga supports to unfold true love and freedom which is already there and naturally gets shared in daily life without the idea of sharing. A person who has love in his heart does not seek for it in others. All seeking and searching for happiness, love and freedom shows that it is not there and how can we share something we do not have.

True love is love for all. When love gets directed to only one person it becomes lust. Sharing lust can be mistaken as love.

Love is not an idea and the idea of love is not love. When all ideas disappear love appears. Love is not a skill and it can not be learnt. It is our true nature. Shiva calls it Pure Consciousness.

“It is the lust that suffers not the love.”

What is the difference between normal Hatha Yoga & Mukta Tantra Yoga?

Practical implications of Tantra Yoga are very different to normal Hatha yoga, as Mukta Tantra Yoga has evolved very differently in a non-dualistic way.

In normal Hatha yoga practice, we are using our body, mind & senses to achieve self centered goals, which are always based on hopes and desires somewhere in the future, so our present is sacrificed for the future. Hatha Yoga is dualistic. Body-oriented yoga is usually concerned with the alignment of the body but ignores the spiritual alignment of an individual which is the main purpose of all Indian Mysticism.

Mukta Tantra Yoga uses radically different kind of poses, the poses of awareness to experience one’s true nature beyond dualistic body, mind, breath, chakras and senses, in order to use dualistic body, mind & senses to express our true freedom (or Pure consciousness), which is already inherited in the present moment. The moment you start looking or searching for happiness or freedom outside or inside it just becomes an unending escape.

Mukta Tantra Yoga makes us aware of this freedom which is already there. We just get distracted with the objective or subjective world. In Mukta Tantra Yoga, no worldly, spiritual and emotional escape exists. It includes all the aspects of life. Mukta Tantra Yoga does not believe in following blindly any system, guru and ideology, it rather supports free awareness born out of direct observation which is not self-centered. Awareness makes us present to face daily life as it comes and responding with the fresh intelligence of the moment. Awareness is not a practice because you are it, just don’t escape from it.

There is no Road to Freedom. You are it. All roads lead us away from our true nature. Until our true nature is manifested biologically, psychologically & emotionally, it remains simply an idea but life is not an idea. It is a vibrant reality in the here and now.
