Vibrant and Safe Town
For centuries Rishikesh is a pilgrimage destination for spirituality and the World Capital of Yoga. The town is organized around the sacred holy Ganges River creating a feminine and peaceful energy with a unique diverse crowd and a safe destination for foreigners to travel to, men and women.
Here, plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops, temples, spas, places to chill out by the river, etc. The famous suspended bridges Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula across the river Ganges connect the 2 villages on the east and west banks.
Nested in Nature
Rishikesh is nested in a valley with natural forests all over. Within the town, you can easily get out of the busy market streets to find peaceful walks, plenty of places to sit such as beaches, stairs and ghats by the exotic river banks.
Plenty of other routes are there to explore outside of town in the untouched green mountains all around, visit waterfalls, do trekking, climbing, rafting, riding motorbike, etc. You can even bathe in the River Ganges as pollution hasn’t affected this area
Rishikesh is less than an hour by domestic flight from New Delhi International airport with few flights per day. Rishikesh nearest airport is Jollygrant at Dehradun town which is 21 kms away. A prepaid taxi booth is at the arrival where you can book a taxi for a fixed price.
You can also access via train or bus from New Delhi and others main cities.
Our yoga hall is located in Tapovan village nested in nature with amazing view of the lush mountains all around. We are only few minutes’ walk to small market streets and the main market.
You will be accommodated in a private room with attached bathroom nearby the yoga shala depending on the availability at the time of booking. Check-in on the starting day of the Training/Retreat, followed by the opening ceremony in the afternoon. Check-out on the following morning after the end of the Training/Retreat.
