What is Mukta Tantra Yoga?
It is the Inner Yoga of Ancient India, the Yoga of Awareness & Presence.
The secret of absolute freedom!
Mukta Tantra Yoga is not Hatha Yoga or Neo Western Tantra or Western Kundalini Yoga. Historically, it is the only philosophy in the world that is not male chauvinistic and doesn’t discriminate between any nationality, class, color, gender and religion. It has evolved very differently in a non-dualistic environment and passed orally from generation to generation. This type of yoga cannot be found through self-claimed scholars or theirs books and it is not a commodity that you can buy. It is a heart to heart connection and a direct perspective of free mind. Mukta Tantra Yoga is only for those who are not looking to convert themselves from one system of belief to another. This is not a spiritual romantic escape or an academic trap to get lost in translations, but a key to dissolve self-inflicted sorrow and to celebrate our uniqueness beyond all comparisons.
An obedient mind is a mechanical mind that can easily be exploited through false hopes of future. A healthy doubting, sceptical and critical mind is a free mind because it doesn’t want to follow or obey blindly.
A healthy mind is a mind that is inquiring into his own patterns and conditionings and taking full responsibility without playing blaming games. A free mind flows with deep trust and love beyond borrowed self-image or ego put together cunningly out of greed and fear.
It is important not to hold on to the old ego or emotions rather shattering them fully so fresh intelligence can bloom to live a fresh abundant life. To climb high on the mountains, we have to unburden the unnecessary weight.
True Spirituality is not conforming to any pattern given by others or oneself, rather getting rid of all patterns (spiritually or worldly) is true spirituality.
Mukta Tantra Yoga is a golden secret key to the absolute freedom. It is the Essence of all Asiatic Tantric Mysticism.
Mukta Tantra Yoga is authentically using a Traditional Kundalini Tantra Yoga of Tantric Asanas, Traditional Tantric Kundalini, Tantric Chakras, Mantras, Tantric Meditations, Tantric Breath, Secrets of Shaktis or Femininity, Bandhas, Prana, Sounds, Vibrations, Light, Prana, Elements, Energies, Soma and Recognition to remain present in the moment and reflect our true nature without the interference of conditioned mind. We are using our body, mind & senses to express our true freedom (also called Pure Consciousness by Shiva) and to unlock the bliss of life, which is also called Kundalini Shakti in Tantra.
To understand and freeing these energies, we use practical philosophy inspired by the Essence of Traditional Tantra also called Kashmiri Shaivism, Shaktism, Agama, Trika or Himalayan Tantra, Bhairva Tantra, the essence of The Heart Of Shiva.
Mukta Tantra Yoga supports self-awareness born out of direct observation. Awareness makes us present to face daily life as it comes and responding with the fresh intelligence of the moment.
Mukta Tantra Yoga supports others to see directly in their own light beyond all dependency on systems, cultures, traditions, bookish knowledge and self-claimed scholars. Traditions are there to be used and not to get used or obsessed by them. They are the echos of truth which modern scholars are trying to intellectualise. We are the truth, just start expressing it with no excuses to seek for it. Welcome to Mukta Tantra Yoga to vitalize your senses in order to manifest your truth.
Truth is not a monopoly of any lineage rather the essence of a rebellious heart who dares to break through all the traditional lineage of the past to express truth freshly in order to use tradition rightly. Only lies are repeatable not the Truth because truth is always fresh and always need to come upon freshly. Following Tantra is not a goal, rather understanding oneself is true Tantra. Traditional Tantra reflects the experience of Asiatic Mystics who have expressed their true freedom. It can become just an inspiration to taste our own freedom.
‘Mukta‘ means ‘free’ or liberated.
‘Tantra‘ is a science to crack the code of our true nature (pure consciousness, bliss or freedom). It is eternal and always free from body, mind and feelings. There is no goal to achieve rather experiencing the true bliss of life which is already there.
There is no Road to Freedom. You are it. All roads lead us away from our true nature. Until our true nature is manifested biologically, psychologically & emotionally, it remains simply an idea but life is not an idea. It is a vibrant reality in the here and now.
Mukta Tantra Yoga embodies the essence of different yoga types such as Trika Yoga, Shiva Yoga, Shakti Yoga, Quantum Yoga, Prana Yoga, Tantric Yin Yoga, Yin Yang Yoga, Uchhara Yoga, Tattva Yoga, Soma Yoga, Consciousness Yoga.
“Following someone who is still seeking or practicing is the surest way to get lost.”
– Guru Vasistha
What is the difference with Hatha Yoga?
Practical implications of Tantra Yoga are very different to normal Hatha yoga, as Mukta Tantra Yoga has evolved very differently in a non-dualistic way. In normal Hatha yoga practice, we are using our body, mind & senses to achieve self centered goals, which are always based on hopes and desires somewhere in the future, so our present is sacrificed for the future. Hatha Yoga is dualistic. Just Body-oriented yoga is usually concerned with the alignment of the body but ignores the spiritual alignment of an individual which is the main purpose of all Indian Mysticism.
Mukta Tantra Yoga uses radically different kind of poses, the poses of awareness to experience ones true nature beyond dualistic body, mind, breath, chakras and senses, in order to use dualistic body, mind & senses to express our true freedom (also called Pure consciousness by Shiva), which is already inherited in the present moment. The moment you start looking or searching for happiness or freedom outside or inside it just becomes unending escape. It includes all the aspects of life.
Mukta Tantra makes us aware of this freedom which is already there. We just get distracted with the objective or subjective world. In Mukta Tantra Yoga, no worldly, spiritual and emotional escape exists. Mukta Tantra Yoga does not believe in following blindly any system, Guru and ideology, it rather supports free awareness born out of direct observation which is not self-centered. Awareness makes us present to face daily life as it comes and responding with the fresh intelligence of the moment.
What is the difference with sexually inspired Tantra?
Spiritualized and romanticized sex is sold as love making skills to stimulate oneself momentarily in order to forget one’s sufferings born out of self-centeredness and isolation. But Love is not a skill rather an Art that flows naturally in deep intimacy. Intimacy can not be taught or learnt. Making love without intimacy is prostitution and leads to all sorts of sufferings and psychosomatic problems born out of dependence. Mukta Tantra Yoga is not dependent on the other for love or transformations. Mukta Tantra Yoga supports to unfold true love and freedom which is already there and naturally gets shared in daily life without the idea of sharing. A person who has love in his heart does not seek for it in others. All seeking and searching for happiness, love and freedom shows that it is not there and how can we share something we do not have.
True love is love for all. When love gets directed to only one person it becomes lust. Sharing lust can be mistaken as love. Mukta Tantra is complete freedom from dependence of other. When you are not dependent on others emotionally, physically and mentally then you truly can love. That love will not have a shadow of sufferings. There is no true relation between two isolated egos but two freedoms always meet naturally. When “I” is not, life is. Love is not an idea and the idea of love is not love. When all ideas disappear love appears. Love is not a skill and it can not be learnt. It is our true nature. Shiva calls it pure consciousness.
Modern Scholars Vs Mystics
Scholars or Teachers are not the Mystics and Mystics are not the scholars. Scholars are looking truth into the dust of books while the Mystics are living truths. Sutras naturally flow as a nectar out of them and the truly thirsty quench their thirst beyond all academical knowledge. It is not the technique that transform but the Truth itself.
It is only the Mystics who can decode the secrets of ancient wisdom because he/she has decoded it within oneself.
So called scholars can only chew and debate endlessly on empty words while interpreting the Sutras with the cunning intellect without any self-realization and can mislead innocent beings for their own ego. It is only the realized who can revealed the essence of the Sutras beyond guessing interpretation. When one knows then one doesn’t guess. All the ancient wisdom is experience of Mystics which can inspire us to live in the mystery of life. All efforts to demystify born out of fear because one is afraid to live in the mystery and then find a romantic escape into books, scholars and teachers to entertain oneself in order to forget temporarily one’s sufferings.
How does it work?
Mukta Tantra Yoga is not only about learning physical Asanas and its alignment. Rather it is all about one’s presence and awareness in the moment, it does not matter what we are doing. Awareness is true alignment and is not based on following any system, guru or searching something in the future, rather opening up all the senses to manifest life as it comes in the moment beyond all self-limitations. It includes all aspects of life in order to meet the challenges of daily hectic life.
Using authentically Traditional Tantric Asanas, Kundalini, Chakras, Tantric Breathwork, Mantras (the Science of Sounds), Vibrations, Energies, Bandhas, Prana, Visualization and Direct Seeing without the interference of one’s own conditioned mind, to express our freedom and manifest our true nature which is already there, beyond all likes and dislikes.
Any effort to fit to any selfish society is the surest way to get lost. Only a truly dropout or misfit can see beyond the dust of so called taboos. Being yourself as you are is the key and not trying to fit to the others expectations. Dropouts are the update of our society and misunderstood by the common masses.
Awareness is not a practice because you are it, just don’t escape from it.
Mukta Tantra Yoga is not used to gain or achieve freedom in future – rather to express the freedom we already have.
How has it evolved?
Jivan Mukta, the founder of Mukta Tantra Yoga, has spent his life practically exploring many systems and philosophies of spirituality globally. He noticed that most of these systems are there to convert or follow blindly without questioning or doubting and to expand themselves financially but no authentic support to an individual. They always try to format us into some spiritual mold and giving greed and hope for a better future. Systems should support the individual, not the individual supporting the systems. Mukta shares his clarity through Mukta Tantra Yoga to inspire others to see in their own light.
Mukta Tantra Yoga is all about the presence and direct perception here and now. You can use Mukta Tantra Yoga to sustain yourself physically, mentally & emotionally in daily life. Inner order is born out of our true nature and naturally creates the outer order in daily life. An orderly and harmonious life is full of joy and creativity.
“A mind inquiring into oneself is a truly spiritual mind. Only a spiritual mind can trust and love life in all its colours.”

Quantum Physics and Neuroscience are realizing many facts which has been experienced and documented by Tantric Mystics thousands of years back. According to Indian Mysticism, we have the brain, we are not the brain, therefore we can reformat our brain according to our true nature. In Mukta Tantra Yoga, we use Eastern Wisdom and Tradition to modify the quantum of our life, which is the nature and behavior of matter and energy on the atomic level, to manifest our essential nature in daily life.
Mukta Tantra Yoga is choice-less awareness in the moment. Tantra is not against the senses; it uses senses to experience life in all its colors. It doesn’t teach us to control our mind, but rather makes us aware of it, so we can use it to support our true nature.
Why we do all these practices if we already are what we are?
Our senses become dull through living a very limited or insensitive life. Society doesn’t allow us to fully express ourselves so we live in partiality and that blocks all the energies and leads us to overthink, overeat, become oversexed. It makes us seek, search and compare, compete and try to become what we are not, it makes our body, mind and senses dull.
All these tools are there to help us regain our sensitivity and liveliness so our sensitive brain can reflect what we truly are. A vital person can face life as it comes because he is not lost in seeking and searching. Seeking and searching are only ways to postpone and live in a false hope of tomorrow. Those who wants to live here and now, for them tomorrow doesn’t exist. Postponement is the way of an escapist. And an escapist always has justifications not to live in now and suffers in hope of imaginary tomorrow which never comes.
“Any effort to fulfil oneself through other is an escape from oneself.”
